Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy

You play as Cirno, the self-proclaimed Hero of Ice, on a journey through Gensokyo to rescue her captured friend and confront the forces behind the crisis. The adventure uses a playful, storybook tone and features familiar Touhou characters.

Combat centers on multi-phase boss fights filled with patterned bullet attacks. Move, shoot, and use dashes or flight to evade incoming fire; each boss brings distinct attacks to learn and respond to.

Equip weapons, spell cards, and other items to shape Cirno's combat setup, and earn further abilities and equipment as you progress. Optional challenge fights, boss practice, assist options, and a roguelite mode offer additional ways to play.

Players often praise the boss battles for their varied attack patterns and satisfying challenge, along with the soundtrack, character art, and options for customizing Cirno's loadout. Some appreciate how dash and flight help make the bullet-hell combat approachable, while others find the harder challenges demanding. Reviews also differ on the story and campaign length.
