In a fantasy Wild West valley, you play a wanted hero hunted by the Undertaker’s minions. Survive waves of bounty hunters and take on the sheriffs and deputies serving the necromancer.
Fight from a top-down view, using movement and dashes to avoid enemies. Your character shoots only while standing still, so every attack means weighing a chance to fire against the need to reposition. Play solo or with up to three friends locally or remotely.
Each run offers randomized stat upgrades, while elite enemies and bosses can drop powerful equipment. Choose from characters with different playstyles, unlock more items through challenges, and advance through increasingly difficult Infamy levels; an endless mode is also available.
Many reviewers enjoy the stop-to-shoot mechanic, which makes them choose when to attack and when to move, along with the satisfying upgrades and potential for strong item combinations.
