Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate

You control the black king, now the only piece on your side, armed with a shotgun against the opposing chess army. Avoid checkmate and defeat the white king to clear each floor.

On each turn, choose whether to move according to chess rules or fire at enemy pieces. Shots depend on the shotgun’s range and spread, and firing leaves you needing to move again to reload. Positioning and anticipating enemy threats are essential to staying alive.

After each floor, choose between two random upgrade combinations: one improves your king or weapon, while the other strengthens the opposing side. Builds develop over a run, with unlockable cards, 20 difficulty ranks, and additional modes including endless, chase, and charnier.
