You play as Adrienne, a shy girl in an unhappy home who discovers a strange entity in a trash-filled basement that seems to have been used for scientific study. Hoping for a happier life, she begins raising it as her Grandpa.
Explore the basement through point-and-click interactions, clearing debris and finding objects, documents, and clues about what happened there. Feed Grandpa with what you uncover, teach it words, and talk with it as it grows.
Research files and other discoveries gradually build a story combining scientific speculation and supernatural ideas. Your interactions with Grandpa and your understanding of the lore shape which of the game's two endings you reach.
