MARVEL SNAP is a competitive card battler featuring Marvel heroes and villains. Players build 12-card decks, with each card bringing its own ability.
Matches last up to six turns and play out across three locations, revealed as the game progresses. Each location has its own effect; the goal is to control two of them when the match ends.
Players can use Snap to raise the stakes during a match, adding a bluffing decision to the contest. Progression includes collecting cards, climbing ranked ladders, and playing rotating limited-time modes; card variants and other cosmetics let players customize their collections.
Many reviewers enjoy the quick matches and the strategic decisions around deck choices, changing locations, and when to Snap. Marvel-themed card art and collecting variants also appeal to some players. The most recurring criticism is that acquiring cards can feel slow or expensive, with frequent releases and time-limited rewards adding pressure; some reviewers also report balance and technical problems. A number of players say they still enjoy the core game, while others feel those concerns outweigh it.

The SNAP mechanic is MARVEL SNAP’s signature twist. Snapping lets you raise the stakes during a match to double your gains. It’s simple to understand, but it adds a strong layer of pressure, timing, and bluffing that changes how every game feels.
