The Riflemen is a low-poly first-person shooter set in World War II. Players fight in teams of up to five, starting each match with a bolt-action rifle and a knife.
Matches center on precise rifle shots, with no manual reloading; headshots are lethal. Weapon drops can add options such as shotguns, sniper rifles, bazookas, grenades, and mines.
Modes include Team Deathmatch, objective-based Domination, ammo-scavenging matches, and round-based Secure & Survive. Barebones removes supply drops, while Hardcore makes hits instantly lethal; progression unlocks character and weapon cosmetics.
Some players enjoy the aiming and rifle gunplay, describing the game as a fun, casual shooter, especially in matches with friends. Reviews also praise its distinctive low-poly presentation, and a few appreciate having bots to play against when other players are scarce. Other reviews criticize the bots as unfair, while several say that low player activity limits the experience.
