Retro City Rampage DX casts you as a troublemaking player in a top-down, 8-bit open-world city. Its story follows a bizarre time-machine mishap, with missions leading you through a parody-filled adventure.
Roam the streets, steal and drive vehicles, fight with weapons and power-ups, and take on story missions. Objectives shift between action and driving challenges, with shops, minigames, collectibles, and secrets to find around town.
Alongside Story Mode, Arcade Mode offers shorter challenges. Progress unlocks more weapons, vehicles, and character customizations, while free-roaming lets you explore and cause trouble outside mission objectives.
