You play as Takayuki Yagami, a former defense attorney who now works as a private detective in Kamurocho, Tokyo. When a series of grisly murders draws him into a larger criminal investigation, he follows leads and works to uncover the truth.

Investigations involve searching scenes for clues, questioning people, examining evidence, photographing details, piloting a drone, and tailing suspects. Between cases, you can take on requests from residents and explore the district’s shops, arcades, and other activities.

When conflicts turn physical, Yagami switches between two fighting styles suited to groups or individual opponents, using combos and objects in the environment. Fighting earns experience for unlocking skills, while optional cases and activities offer more to do around Kamurocho.
