🏆 Award-winning narrative adventure (NYX Game Awards 2026 – 2x Gold, 3x Silver)
Imagine a place where everything that is lost and forgotten goes; old toys, letters, single socks. The Forgotten Lands is a magical world inhabited by forgotlings; creatures composed of mislaid objects longing to be remembered again.

From the developers behind the highly-acclaimed indie adventure Forgotton Anne; Forgotlings is a cinematic story-driven action-adventure where you'll play as Fig, a once-forgotten posing doll now captain of the sentient lightship Volare. As shadows stir and ancient divisions crack the land, you must soar across windswept skies and forgotten cities, uniting warring tribes before everything unravels.

• Embark on a Hand-Animated Journey: Experience thousands of meticulously hand-crafted frame-by-frame animations & stunning landscapes that bring the Forgotten Lands to life, making every moment feel like you’re playing through an animated movie.

• Engage in Swordplay and Diplomacy: Persuade forgotlings to join your cause, defend settlements from bandits, and settle disputes through INA, a cherished board game that fosters unity in a fractured world.

• Explore A Wholly-Original World of Wonder: Sail across the Forgotten Lands aboard the living ship Volare, and win the trust & respect of the five forgotling tribes.

• Shape Your Story Through Choices: Your decisions shape Fig’s journey and relationships, influencing the fate of the Forgotten Lands. Use a unique dialogue wheel to navigate tense encounters.

• Tactical Combat: Charge head-on with hack-and-slash action or strike from the shadows with devastating sneak attacks. Unlock powerful upgrades as you forge bonds with forgotlings across the land. Includes a Story Mode for players who want to focus on the narrative.

• A Game of INA: Get to know your fellow forgotlings, or ease the tension with a clever round of INA, a strategic board game inspired by Chess and Go.

• Immerse Yourself in a Haunting Soundscape: With a full voice cast and an evocative score featuring the renowned choir ensemble Theatre of Voices, the game's captivating audio design accentuates the emotional highs and lows of your adventure.

• The Forgotten Lands: A magical realm where lost objects—forgotlings—gain consciousness, some with faint memories of their past lives, now seeking meaning and belonging. Bring hope & redemption to a divided world.

Meet the 5 forgotling tribes that inhabit the Forgotten Lands. From the knowledge-seeking Videra to the industrious Aufero, each tribe offers unique perspectives and challenges, enriching your journey through their distinct philosophies and histories.

• Videra: Dedicated scholars and keepers of knowledge, residing in Bygone Park. They believe understanding the past is key to shaping the future, and seek to uncover all knowledge of the heavens and the earth.

• Aufero: Innovators and engineers from Watchtown, dedicated to progress and technological advancement, often at the cost of tradition. They shape their surroundings and society, forging a future through progress and innovation.

• Servus: The Servus live to serve, finding purpose in protecting and uplifting others. They live in Shelter Island, valuing compassion, and are often seen as the heart of empathy in the realm.

• Sonavi: Adventurous explorers from the Falls, driven to map and connect every corner of the Forgotten Lands.

• Karus: Mysterious and spiritual inhabitants of the Mangroves. The Karus seek enlightenment beyond the material realm, aiming to merge with the anima stream—the life force of the Forgotten Lands.

Forgotlings is the culmination of a five-year development journey by indie studio Throughline Games, building upon the foundation laid by their previous award-winning title, Forgotton Anne. The game was brought to life with the support of a passionate community through a successful Kickstarter campaign, reflecting a shared love for the team’s vision of storytelling and artistry.
