A young woman lies awake as thoughts, memories, and worries spill into an imagined theater inside her head. You explore these scenes alongside a small figure who accompanies her restless inner monologue.
Use point-and-click interactions to investigate each scene and solve light puzzles. The activities include manipulating objects, following visual clues, and trying familiar bedtime distractions as the character's thoughts jump between everyday concerns and memories.
The experience unfolds across short chapters, each using its own set of scenes and interactions to express a different part of the sleepless night. The puzzles and shifting hand-drawn imagery trace the character's changing relationship with her thoughts, and a final activity lets you create a picture of your own.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its expressive hand-drawn presentation, gentle atmosphere, and music, along with how its scenes evoke familiar late-night overthinking. Many appreciate the way its simple, varied interactions support the emotional story, while some find the experience too brief or the puzzles too easy.
Insomnia: Theater in the Head(失眠)
As the name suggests, it is a game depicting the feeling of insomnia, whose plot is revealed through the exquisite hand-drawn paintings of KeKe, the chief artist of "A Perfect Day".
Hickory dickory dock. The city's deep in sleep. The clock's ticking. The sheep's bouncing. Hickory dickory dock. The girl flips on her left side for the third time in the night, only with more things swarming into her head... Well, the show in the head is rolling on again. Is it possible to get some sleep tonight?
It's deep in the night. Have you ever been turning and tossing in bed? It's late in the night. Have you been turning and tossing in bed? Are you sad, worried, stressed, anxious, or confused? Did any negative emotions from the day affect your sleep? Or are you simply sleepless?
Anyway, we hope you can enjoy good sleep every day after playing this game!
