You play as Ruff Ghanor, a young cleric trained by monks and set on confronting the tyrant Red Dragon, Zamir, to free the kingdom. Along the way, he also uncovers the truth about himself.
Combat is turn-based and card-driven: collect cards representing actions, shape your deck, plan your moves, and build synergies. You can also gather loyal allies, each with a special deck.
The journey combines battles with exploration and story encounters inspired by events from the fantasy novel. Its roguelite structure sends Ruff through repeated attempts on the way to his confrontation with the dragon.
