The Developer Says...

Chacara is an horror game with thriller and slasher characteristics, retro aesthetic, and PS1/PSX graphics, inspired by games from developers such as Puppet Combo, the game takes place in the early 90's, in the north of Brazil.
Under the effect of some beers, our young protagonist embarks on the road, from the city, to the house of his parents, on a small town, in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. However, the pressure made him forgot to make sure he had enough gas... Thank God he ran out of gas near a "Chacara" (a traditional Brazilian country house), and decides to go in to ask for a hand.
However, the Chacara is much more mysterious than it seems at first glance, it doesn't take long to find evidence about the fate of the family that lived there, even worse, our young protagonist begins to be stalked by what seems to be the owner of the Chacara, a veteran military, mentally ill, who, apparently, is a war criminal of the old Brazilian Military Dictatorship. Finally, your objetive is to get out of the Chacara alive.
