On the hostile planet Idun, you defend mining operations and other objectives from waves of alien creatures. The single-player campaign includes a story and missions with goals such as protecting a base, escorting vehicles and guarding mining carts.
During battles, place and move turrets and units to respond to shifting attacks, while gathering resources to build and improve defenses. Use different weapons, barriers and orbital abilities to manage enemy swarms; damaged terrain and enemy remains can also affect the battlefield.
Between missions, spend resources on persistent upgrades and unlock additional defenses, troops and tools. Missions also offer in-run upgrade choices, while multiple modes, difficulty settings and optional roguelite-style runs provide different ways to play.
