Bwana and Kito run a struggling gas station near Kingsport Bay. When Lina arrives searching for a journal written by their father, Captain Kaonandodo, Bwana agrees to help her find it and reach the mysterious Underland.
Explore locations, examine objects, talk with local characters for clues, and solve puzzles by using and combining items. The journey includes repairing an old airplane, with some backtracking between areas as the search unfolds.
This is a mouse-driven, point-and-click adventure with hand-painted environments, animated characters, and a fully voiced cast. Its Afro-Caribbean setting is accompanied by a jazzy reggae soundtrack, and Chapter One begins an episodic story.
Reviewers often enjoy the distinctive art and characters, the jazzy music, and the humor, finding the game charming and reminiscent of classic point-and-click adventures. Many describe the puzzles as logical and approachable, though some mention getting stuck on an easy-to-miss item or less obvious puzzle. A few also find the first chapter short or object to the episodic format and its pricing.
