You play as hacker X, breaking into a digital world and battling waves of disturbing enemies, including a boss interfering with the hack.
Move with WASD, aim and attack with the mouse, and use space to dodge. Each run offers random choices and rewards as you fight and improve your combat setup.
Combine weapons with hacking add-ons to create different builds. The prologue includes five avatars, two weapons, four add-ons, and one map, with repeat runs offering opportunities to unlock avatars and attribute upgrades.
