Disaster Band is a rhythm game where you perform songs solo or online with up to three other players. Each player chooses an instrument and plays along with the track.
Choose from 15 instruments, including orchestral options and novelty sounds such as meowing cats and choir vocals. You can play freely, so missed or unexpected notes become part of the performance rather than stopping the song.
Play included tracks or import and share custom MIDI songs through mod.io. Performances earn scores that can be compared on local and global leaderboards.
In this review sample, players often enjoy the game most as a funny, unpredictable jam with friends, and call out its unusual instrument choices as part of the fun. Some also appreciate custom tracks and find it enjoyable solo, while others say the limited built-in song selection and difficulty finding online players can reduce replay value. A few reviews criticize the controls.
