In Career mode, you take on both the driver and team-leader roles, guiding your outfit through five decades of racing, from the 1980s to the present day. Compete in Grand Prix seasons and supporting events as cars, technology, and challenges change over time.
Races use accessible arcade-style driving, with strategy built around tire choice and wear, fuel load, component reliability, slipstreaming, and pit stops. Changing weather can affect your plans, while damage and mechanical problems may force adjustments on track.
Between races, spend earnings on car upgrades and manage staff perks that can improve areas such as pit stops. Career events include time trials, checkpoint races, eliminations, and rival duels; Championship and Hot Lap modes offer other ways to race, and Championship supports up to four players in local split-screen.
Players often enjoy the responsive, approachable racing and the added decisions around tires, fuel, and pit stops.
