After a devastating pandemic, you play as a Division agent working to defend and rebuild Washington, D.C. Hostile factions contest the city while survivors try to hold on. Take on story missions, side activities, bounties, and encounters across the open world. Fight from cover, use skills such as drones and turrets, and capture control points as factions battle for territory. You can play solo or team up with other agents. Earn and craft weapons and equipment, then adjust your agent with skills, specializations, and gear builds suited to different approaches. After the main campaign, higher-difficulty missions, world events, and PvP offer further activities and progression.

As an agent in pandemic-stricken Washington, fight from cover, reclaim territory, and shape your combat style with gear and skills.
