In 1920s Sussex, retired detective and beekeeper Sherlock Holmes is preparing a picnic for Dr. Watson, newly returned from the First World War. Local mysteries and neighbours’ troubles keep interrupting his plans.
Explore the village in a point-and-click adventure, inspect objects, gather clues and talk with residents. Holmes can investigate small incidents and help the people he meets while getting ready for the picnic.
Combine information to make deductions and solve puzzles, some with more than one solution. Choices affect how characters respond, and Holmes can call his brother Mycroft for hints.
Players often praise the tender Holmes-and-Watson story, character writing and performances, along with the relaxed village atmosphere, visual style and nods to the original stories.
