DunHero is a top-down fantasy action roguelite in which you choose a hero and venture through a series of worlds. Each class begins with its own strengths and starting equipment.
Fight enemies across changing dungeon maps, complete side objectives, visit towns and traders, and face a boss at the end of a stage. You can play alone or team up with others in co-op.
Runs offer equipment and level-up cards to shape your build. Between runs, you can unlock more heroes and spend progression points on upgrades; interactions with townsfolk can also affect your standing with them.
Many reviewers enjoy experimenting with the range of classes, loot and build combinations, and describe the combat and run-based loop as satisfying or easy to pick up. Some also praise playing with friends. Common reservations include runs feeling short or repetitive, steep projectile-heavy difficulty, and accidentally turning friendly NPCs hostile.
