Take command of Soviet, Axis, or Allied forces in campaigns spanning World War II from 1939 to 1945. Missions depict historical battles on maps based on archival materials.
Direct assigned forces through objectives such as attacking and defending, making use of scouts, infantry, vehicles, and fortifications. The game also offers competitive skirmishes against other players or Boris, its AI opponent.
Build and train an army roster, form squads, and select from more than 200 combat units. Terrain, weather, visibility, unit characteristics, and commanders with distinct specializations shape how you approach each battle.
In this review sample, recurring criticism centers on campaign progress failing to register, inaccessible online services, and crashes or other problems that prevent continued play. Some players still praise the campaign missions and tactical battles, and a few note the visuals or the challenge of the AI, but those positive comments are less frequent than complaints about functionality.

| Multiplayer | Blitzkrieg 3 includes multiplayer-focused content, including competitive matches and PvP/PvAI missions. The official description explicitly mentions Skirmish mode in 1x1, 2x2, and 3x3 against the Neural Network AI, implying support for up to 6 players in that mode if those labels reflect total participants. Reviews also describe PvP against other players, including traditional 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches, plus an asynchronous base attack/defense mode where players attack other players' bases and can defend live when online or via AI when offline. Later reviews state the online multiplayer and base invasion modes were removed in the offline version. |
