You play as Renfield, Dracula’s servant, sent to fight through a stylized New Orleans and bring victims to his demanding master. The setup frames the action as a darkly comic supernatural workday.
Each run takes you through compact rooms filled with enemy swarms and bosses. Defeat enemies to collect experience and choose weapon, ability, or stat upgrades; clear a room to pick a connected area, including special rooms. Characters can also trigger their own special attack.
Between runs, use currency and meet unlock conditions to gain characters, stages, weapons, and persistent upgrades. Familiar rooms offer temporary allies, while later encounters let you rescue victims or sacrifice them, changing the route and rewards. Endless and customizable Nightmare modes provide additional challenges.
