Audiosurf 2 turns music you choose into a track to ride. The track’s shape, speed, and mood vary with the song, making your music the basis for each run.
Choose a mode and steer along the track to collect blocks, avoid hazards, or work with blocks in puzzle-style play. Mono rewards timing and filling a score grid; Ninja focuses on weaving past spikes, while Puzzle modes let you push, shuffle, erase, or scoop blocks.
Songs can be replayed in different modes, and scores can be compared on in-game leaderboards. Steam Workshop adds player-made modes and skins, with options to customize the experience.
Players often enjoy using their own music as playable tracks, describing the experience as immersive, relaxing, or a fun way to revisit songs. Reviews also praise the range of Workshop mods and skins and the appeal of chasing scores. Some players find the sequel less enjoyable than the original, and several note that playing online music may require a community patch.

Official store features list Shared/Split Screen and Remote Play Together, and reviews state AudioSprint can be played with up to three other players locally. The game also includes online leaderboards and live score comparison with Steam friends, but this is asynchronous competition rather than confirmed real-time online matches. |
| Multiplayer & mods | Workshop mods and skins can add or affect multiplayer. Reviews say AudioSprint supports up to 4-player local multiplayer and mention a 4-player local multiplayer mod. Another review states some Workshop modes have local multiplayer. |
