Huaxia: Warring States

Set in a myth-inflected Warring States era, the game puts you in the role of a customizable character starting from a fallen position. Build up your clan and pursue power across a regional map.

Travel between settlements, explore locations, take quests, trade goods, and recruit soldiers and retainers. Develop your character with attributes, skills, equipment, and talents while managing resources and constructing clan holdings.

When battles begin, either fight in real time from an overhead view using weapons and spells alongside your troops, or let forces resolve the clash through command. Victories can bring loot and prisoners, and help you capture settlements and expand your influence.

Among favorable reviews, players often enjoy the Warring States setting and the mix of character progression, clan management, exploration, and army-building. Some highlight the spectacle of leading troops in battle, while others value the range of activities and the freedom to develop a character and growing clan. These reactions vary: many reviews also describe the experience as incomplete or difficult to follow in its current state.
