Inside a nostalgic handheld LCD toy, you look after Popgoes the Weasel, a needy digital pet. Keep him fed, hydrated and entertained; neglecting his needs can make the day end in failure.
Manage your actions and resources as you work through the main game, then take on extra modes and minigames, including fishing and score-based challenges. The simple controls frame a routine that becomes more demanding as you progress.
Completing activities and challenges unlocks playable characters, stickers, cosmetic options, character sheets and diary entries. These extras add customization and reveal story details from the POPGOES world.
In this sample, players often enjoy the unusual virtual-pet routine, nostalgic LCD-toy presentation and mix of minigames and challenges. And if Popgoes doesn't receive what he desperately needs, he passes out. Or maybe he straight up dies. Up to your imagination.
