You play a hero resisting the Groove-Wizard's rule in a colorful, electronic-music-filled world. The game unfolds as a 2D platforming adventure across three worlds.
Run, jump, stomp, and fly through demanding levels, avoiding enemies and hazards. Levels mix up the challenge with mechanics such as low gravity and world rotation, alongside giant monsters and swarming missiles.
The campaign offers more than 45 levels and boss fights. Other ways to play include time-attack and deathless challenges, an endless run through increasingly difficult short levels, and a mini-adventure with additional mechanics.
Several supplied reviews praise the electronic soundtrack and describe it as a driving part of the platforming experience. Reviewers also highlight the demanding levels and replayable challenges, while others criticize the precision difficulty and intense visual effects; reactions to the presentation are mixed.
