Eventide Matter

You control Vanguard Unit 4, sent into an unfamiliar dimension to gather materials and construct a Phase Gate. The gate is intended to give the remnants of a dying civilization a way to escape.

Fly through resource-rich areas, mine materials, and craft components for the gate and your ship. Each area gives you a limited period to gather supplies before crystalline enemies arrive and threaten the mothership.

When the mothership prepares to move on, defend it until it can jump to the next area. Between jumps, spend resources on permanent technology upgrades and ship modules, while new materials and crafting requirements support construction of the gate in stages.
