Fruitbus

You take the wheel of your late grandmother’s food truck and travel between islands, meeting the people who knew her. Their requests and stories help you reconnect with her past and work toward bringing her friends together.

Explore each island on foot or by truck to gather fruits and vegetables, then prepare meals for customers. Cooking involves handling ingredients and tools yourself, with different dishes calling for different preparation methods.

Serving customers earns money for truck and kitchen upgrades, while decorating the truck lets you make it your own. Island requests and new destinations provide reasons to gather different ingredients, learn more recipes, and meet more characters.

Players who enjoy Fruitbus often praise its gentle, unhurried pace, hands-on cooking, and the pleasure of driving around to forage and serve customers. Many also find the characters and story about a grandmother’s legacy touching, and mention the charming art and sound. These strengths are often tempered by reports of bugs and performance problems, along with clunky controls or repetitive ingredient gathering.
