From the Devs
The gods have abandoned this world, leaving it at the mercy of endless storms and the howls of the Black Wailers hunting in the dark. In this vast, procedurally generated wilderness, every night is a fight to survive, and every dawn is a hard-earned victory. Playable solo or with up to 6 players in online co-op, Whisper of the Swallows is a brutal survival experience where your goal is not just to endure the chaos, but to reshape this world.
Survive a World That Wants You Dead
The environment is your greatest enemy. Freezing cold drains your strength, and raging blizzards strike without warning, turning a simple journey into a desperate fight for shelter. You must learn to read the world, respect its power, and think creatively to find refuge where there is none. When the wind howls, a single flame can mean the difference between life and death.
Make the Wilderness Your Ally
Every tree, every rock, every creature can become a resource. Hunt wildlife to survive, gather materials from ancient forests, and explore forgotten caves in search of rare minerals. With a deep crafting system, turn the raw gifts of this unforgiving land into tools, weapons, and armor, and venture deeper into the unknown to face the nightmares that await.
Build Your Sanctuary
Master a detailed, piece-by-piece building system to create your refuge out of the chaos. Whether it's a tiny, desperate shelter to survive a blizzard, or a sprawling, multi-story lodge for your entire party, your creativity is your greatest defense. Gather around the campfire with your companions, hear the storm batter the walls you built together, and find a moment of peace in a world that offers none.
Conquer a Relentless World
This world shows no mercy. Sharpen your skills through a demanding combat system, where a well-timed dodge can mean the difference between life and death. Your true goal is to banish the darkness sealing each region. Explore the world, uncover its secrets, and complete the final ritual. Your actions will change the world, and the frozen hell will give way to a land of hope.
