Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

This collection brings together three adventures starring Lara Croft. In The Last Revelation, Lara discovers the lost tomb of the Egyptian god Set and unleashes an ancient prophecy. Chronicles frames four stories from Lara's past as memories shared by those close to her, while in The Angel of Darkness she is accused of murder and goes on the run amid a conspiracy involving alchemical experiments and ancient artifacts.

Across the games, Lara explores tombs, ruins and city environments, traverses platforms, avoids traps, fights enemies, and searches for objects and clues to solve environmental puzzles. The Last Revelation centers on Egypt and links areas that players may revisit; Chronicles moves through four shorter, distinct stories; The Angel of Darkness takes a more story-driven direction.

The collection lets players switch between original and remastered visuals at any time. Its three games also vary in their mechanics: The Angel of Darkness includes dialogue choices, shops and light character progression, while the collection adds options such as modern controls and photo mode.

Players often enjoy revisiting the classic adventures, particularly praising the visual updates to The Last Revelation and Chronicles, the option to switch between old and remastered graphics, and the exploration and puzzles. The games' older controls and camera draw frequent criticism, as do confusing routes and backtracking; opinions on The Angel of Darkness are especially divided, with some appreciating its story and restored content and others finding it clunky or insufficiently remastered.
