In this free non-VR submarine combat game, you crew a submarine and operate its systems from inside the boat. Play alone or work with others online.
Move between controls to run the engines, use the periscope, launch torpedoes at enemy ships, and man a machine gun against attacking aircraft. Enemy destroyers can retaliate with depth charges.
Take on the original missions or randomly generated assignments, including hunting merchant convoys and fighting warships. Solo play offers adjustable assists; this edition does not include the map-based open world, submarine upgrades, or leaderboards.
Players often enjoy teaming up with friends, operating the submarine’s controls, and facing a mix of ships, aircraft, and depth-charge attacks. Some appreciate that the non-VR edition is free and has solo assists. Others find the controls take time to learn and feel the available content has limited long-term replay value.
