You play as adventurers exploring an unknown planet and working together to overcome its obstacles and enemies. The main campaign is built for two players, with a separate Party mode for groups of three or four.
Color drives both puzzles and combat: switch colors to activate mechanisms and affect the environment, then shoot colored gel to line up three matching bubbles and clear them. Levels combine platforming, puzzle-solving, enemy encounters, and boss fights.
As you progress, you gain four special artifacts with abilities for tackling obstacles and puzzles. Levels also contain collectibles used to unlock cosmetic outfits, while an arcade area offers minigames between stages.
