You wake after brain surgery with key memories missing and an eccentric neuro-HUD named Nero as your guide. Travel the universe-spanning Rings, uncover your identity, and take part in a conflict over Sages, people able to alter physical laws with their thoughts.
Combat is top-down space shooting, with ships that move through momentum and acceleration. Choose and customize hulls, then combine weapons and more than 400 abilities to shape how your ship fights.
A story campaign is joined by six scenarios with solo, cooperative, and competitive play. Some modes feature survival or boss battles, while procedurally generated layouts, backgrounds, and enemies vary encounters. Arcade-style minigames let you earn Sage abilities, and Duo ships let a second player act as copilot.
In the supplied reviews, players often praise the ship customization and the freedom to experiment with different builds, alongside the sci-fi story and its dialogue. Several also enjoy the combat and distinct ship handling, while music and visuals receive some positive mentions. A few reviews note a learning curve or complexity, and one reports severe control, menu, and display problems.
