Hans is an immortal watermelon left behind when humanity leaves Earth for the stars. Guide him upward through a strange world as he pursues his dream of reuniting with humanity.
Movement is governed by physics: Hans rolls and bounces with momentum, making precise landings and jumps central to the climb. Navigate platforms and hazards such as rotating surfaces, slippery slopes, cannons, and wrecking balls; slow time to help with difficult moves.
There are no save points, so a fall can mean climbing again from the beginning. The soundtrack changes as Hans ascends, while hidden chests contain cosmetic looks and an in-game timer lets players compare climbing times with friends.
Reviewers who enjoy Hans often describe learning to manage its unusual momentum and gradually improving at the climb as rewarding, with repeated attempts creating a compelling push to try again. Some also value the satisfaction of finally reaching the end. Others find the difficulty and repeated falls frustrating, so these positive experiences are not shared by everyone.
