We Love It's Guide to…

The Red Solstice

Set on Mars in 2280, The Red Solstice puts you in command of marines sent into a dangerous colony. Play alone while directing a squad, or team up with up to seven other players. Explore large maps, fight waves of hostile creatures, and complete objectives such as defending zones or retrieving supplies. Randomized objectives and events can change the demands of a mission as you go. Choose from distinct marine classes with different abilities and equipment, and manage ammunition and other resources during combat. Earn experience to unlock abilities, weapons, and classes; solo play also includes a tactical mode that slows the action while you issue orders.

Lead marines through a hostile Martian colony, fighting mutant swarms and completing tactical missions solo or with up to eight players.
