You take the role of a temporary worker in a strange office, with no memory of your past and only a voice on the radio for guidance. Visitors arrive with accounts of troubling events, and you are tasked with hearing their cases.
Read their stories, ask questions, and use details gathered from each conversation to fill in case information at your computer. Then decide how to judge the visitor based on what you have learned.
As the encounters unfold, connections between the cases build the larger mystery. Your final judgment leads to one of multiple endings; the game is a short, text-focused visual novel with pixel art and ambient sound.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its compact, unsettling atmosphere, pixel-art presentation, and mystery that links the visitors’ stories. Many find its cases thought-provoking, especially the questions they raise about fairness and judging others. Some players instead find the dialogue awkward or drawn out, and several note that the plot becomes predictable or that choices have little effect beyond the final judgment.

Outside the door – a visual novel with elements of mysticism and a gripping storyline taking place within an office. On behalf of a temp who turned out to be at this office for some odd reason you have to listen to the stories of a few visitors and having puzzled out the details of their destinies deliver your verdict before their cases will be passed on. To make things even worse, you’ve got no memories of your past and the only assistant in this weird place is a featureless voice on the radio.
