Linda, a high school student, becomes trapped with her classmates in an abandoned town haunted by supernatural beings. The game follows her journey through the town and other eerie locations as she faces the forces within them.

Explore in third person or switch to first person, search for clues and items, and solve puzzles to open routes forward. Linda uses her smartphone and later an SLR camera to find and damage spirits by photographing them; the devices also provide light.

The game is divided into Acts 0, 1, and 2, with encounters featuring spirits that have distinct behaviors and conditions for defeating them. A journal records ghost information, and some conversations offer choices that can affect how those scenes unfold.
