Dropsy is a clown viewed with suspicion who sets out to help the people he meets. In this surreal adventure, kindness and hugs are his way of reaching out to a world full of unusual characters. Explore locations, find and use objects, and solve puzzles to address characters’ needs. There is no conventional dialogue: people communicate through images and symbols, so understanding what they want is part of the challenge. Dropsy can also enlist animal companions to help. The world is open to exploration, with optional tasks and secrets alongside the main journey. A day-and-night cycle changes when some characters appear or move; resting in beds lets you advance time.

After a deadly circus fire shatters his world and tarnishes his name, Dropsy the Clown finds himself on a journey of self-discovery through a story that harnesses themes of love and unmerited kindness. With his father gravely ill and the world turning its back on the once celebrated clown, Dropsy will need to help those in need, hug total strangers, and unearth dark secrets on the winding road to redemption. Oh, and Dropsy can also talk to animals.
