Hypotheses on the Symmetry between Vision and Hands

From the Devs

Your right hand gets it. Your left hand won’t cooperate.

You mean to move one character, but move the other instead.
Focus on one, and you lose track of the other.

All you have to do is guide two characters to their goals.
The catch? You control both of them yourself.

Control two characters independently with your left and right hands in this top-down action game.

Your left hand controls the man connected to the red line. Your right hand controls the woman connected to the blue line. Move, jump, and dash as you coordinate their movements through each stage.

In this experiment, we will measure the ability to transmit information from vision to the brain and from the brain to the hands using a game. We will also verify the improvement in this ability through repeated trials.

The game involves controlling two hands, one with your left hand and the other with your right hand, to reach the goal on the stage. The hands can change their movement direction, jump, and run.

While the game is primitive, controlling two characters independently with separate hands may cause significant stress to participants. Please do not continue the experiment if you find it too stressful, and take breaks as needed.

Two colors. Two characters. Two goals.

Each stage features mechanisms associated with red or blue.

Discover how each character interacts with the matching mechanisms as you make your way forward. Guide the man to the red circle and the woman to the blue circle. Get both to their goals to advance to the next stage.

Simple controls. Surprisingly uncooperative hands.

Either character looks easy enough to control.
Try controlling both, and the confusion begins.

Which one should move? Where should you jump? Which hand are you focusing on right now?

You can see what needs to happen. Getting your hands to do it is another matter.
That disconnect turns familiar moves and jumps into a fresh challenge.

Detailed information about the game is provided below. Please review it before participating.
