You play as one of the last survivors in a post-apocalyptic, snowbound region. Staying alive means managing cold, hunger and thirst while avoiding infected, hostile survivors and dangerous wildlife.
Explore abandoned towns and other locations for supplies, weapons, clothing and equipment. Hunt animals, fight threats, travel in vehicles, and trade with survivors at shelters or safe zones; missions provide objectives as you explore.
Use gathered materials to craft gear and build a shelter or base. Survival depends on preparing for the weather and choosing what to carry, craft and upgrade. The game can also be played with friends.
