Angvik is a platform action game set in a joyful but unforgiving land.
Developed by Alastair John Jack · Published by Alastair John Jack

A barbarian has taken over the castle, and you set out with your father's gear to confront him. The journey takes you through a hostile land filled with creatures and hazards.
Move through side-scrolling platforming stages, fight creatures, and make use of birds and items you find along the way. Weapons have limited durability, so choosing when to use them versus other ways of fighting matters.
The game gives you one life: when you die, the run ends. Item combinations and escalating challenge levels add decisions and goals as you learn how to handle the journey.
Players who enjoy Angvik often describe its demanding platforming as compelling: repeated attempts can become satisfying as they learn how to use weapons and items, and some praise the secrets and level design. Others find the difficulty frustrating, criticize enemy placement, or say the game loses appeal after completing its challenges.
