Set during a Halloween night at The Mirage cinema, the story follows staff and patrons as a masked killer dressed as a clown begins attacking. You take the first-person perspective of different characters around the theater and nearby locations.
Story sections have you move through each character's surroundings, complete work tasks such as serving moviegoers and handling errands, and play brief mini-games. Encounters and cutscenes advance the slasher story, with occasional quick-time events and light puzzles.
A separate simulation mode expands the concession-stand gameplay into customer-serving shifts. Earn money from orders and use it to unlock shop items and upgrades.
