You play as the sole heir to Adventuria’s throne after the Illusionist Miraj takes control of the kingdom. Recruit adventurers and send them on missions to regain the allegiance of the realm’s races and build the strength needed to reclaim the kingdom.
Adventurers are randomized across seven races and thirteen classes, with different benefits and drawbacks. Organize them into four parties and arrange their formations for bonuses, then send them to locations across the world map. Adventures can resolve automatically or be played manually in turn-based combat, where skills, spells, and monster weaknesses matter.
Develop your roster by leveling up, choosing skills, and equipping adventurers with generated loot. Craft or salvage equipment, upgrade your castle, and use training facilities to improve your party. Adventurers need time to recover, may age and retire, and face a costly death penalty; monster invasions also call for defending your subjects.
Some reviewers enjoy the game’s unusual mix of adventurer management and RPG combat, especially the planning involved in building parties and developing them over time. Others find the systems fiddly or the progression repetitive, and reviews also criticize the interface and bugs.
