We Love It's Guide to…

Carmageddon Max Pack

You are a driver competing in chaotic events across environments such as cities, mines, and desert towns. The courses leave room to explore beyond the marked route, with opponents, pedestrians, hazards, and police cars adding danger. Each event can be completed by finishing the required laps, wrecking all rival cars, or running down all pedestrians in the area. Checkpoints and power-ups can extend the time limit, while collisions and other actions earn credits. Spend credits on repairs, recovering a stranded car, or upgrading its Armour, Power, and Offense. Career progression takes you up the rankings and unlocks additional cars as you advance through events. Different vehicles have their own driving styles, and you can switch cars or improve their stats between races. Hidden areas and a range of beneficial and harmful power-ups add further possibilities during events.

Drive through open environments, finishing laps, wrecking rivals, or running down pedestrians as you upgrade cars and climb the ranks.

Carmageddon is the original freeform driving sensation, where pedestrians (and cows!) equal points, and your opponents are a bunch of crazies in a twisted mix of automotive killing machines. The game features anarchic drive-wherever-you-like gameplay and over-the-top surreal comedy violence. It’s the racing game where racing is for wimps.
