The adventure begins after the final victory. You guide the hero backward through the stages, from the end of the journey toward its beginning, to unravel how events came to be undone.

Each stage reverses familiar platforming goals: instead of defeating enemies and collecting coins, you restore foes and return coins while navigating hazards and avoiding time paradoxes.
