Agent Evangeline Glass sets out to find her missing friend, Dr. Ambrose Ink, after he disappears while investigating earthquakes that are destroying cities. Her search leads to Hochwald and the Barber family castle, where she faces a conspiracy and threats from mechanical creatures.
Explore locations in a point-and-click adventure, collect and use objects, solve puzzles, and search hidden-object scenes. Glass also undertakes espionage tasks, including impersonating a soldier, and uses a hang glider during her investigation.
A mechanical raven accompanies Glass, and hidden steambugs can be collected as she progresses through the story. The game includes a separate bonus adventure, “Ink’s Story,” which takes place before the main story.
Players often enjoy the steampunk setting and presentation, and many find the puzzles and hidden-object scenes entertaining. Some appreciate the puzzles’ variety and approachable difficulty, while others find parts too easy or certain object hunts frustrating. Several reviews also describe the adventure as short, and some wanted more story context.
