Embark on a Personal Journey

Join Sosa on his quest to reconnect with his family. Learn more about Sosa and his daughter Rue while uncovering the mystical secrets of the lake.

Fish up Fantastical Creatures

Search for the correct fishing hole based on clues in your journal and then fight to reel in the fish you've hooked. Tire out all sorts of fish by pulling your rod in the opposite direction and then reel them in to add them to your journal. Catch all the types of fish in the lake to complete Rue's fishlist.

Explore Extreme Environments

Travel through a variety of lush, stormy, and mystical environments all while listening to a jazzy soundtrack. Get caught up in the ambience of the lake and the vibrant colors of the fishing holes you visit.




Lake Minnewaska is an Advanced Games Project (AGP), a student-run game out of the University of Southern California, where students from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and USC School Viterbi School of Engineering, collaborate on large projects from all over USC, including Thorton and Marshall. This project is Lloyd Campbell III's MFA thesis capstone at USC in which he to tell an emotional story through a narrative-heavy fishing game. Lake Minnewaska was made over the course of a year by a team of 35 students.
