After a calamity shatters Azuma and corrupts its lands, you take on the role of an Earth Dancer tasked with restoring the region. Use your powers to clear the Blight, revive nature’s gods, and help the people return to their homes.
Develop four villages themed around the seasons by planting crops and placing homes, shops, farms, and decorations. Assign villagers to jobs such as farming, gathering resources, and running shops, while village development unlocks benefits and supports your journey.
Explore the region and its dungeons, take on quests, and battle monsters with weapons and sacred treasures. Befriend or romance eligible characters, follow their personal events, and recruit friends to join you in combat as the story progresses.
In this helpfulness-selected sample, players often praise the cast and relationship events, the freedom to build and decorate villages, and the blend of farming, exploration, and RPG combat. Some enjoy the setting and story, while others find the plot uneven. Criticism frequently centers on simplified farming, crafting, and progression compared with earlier Rune Factory games; many also describe combat as easy or shallow. Opinions differ on whether the streamlined systems make the game more approachable or leave it short on depth, and some players criticize romance options sold as DLC.
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.
You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you.
