Mini Metro is a strategy simulation game about designing a subway map for a growing city. Draw lines between stations and start your trains running. As new stations open, redraw your lines to keep them efficient. Decide where to use your limited resources. How long can you keep the city moving?

You design a subway network for a growing city. Connect stations with lines and run trains to carry commuters to their destinations.
Passengers head for stations marked with matching shapes, while platforms can hold only a limited number of waiting riders. Redraw routes, move trains, and use scarce resources such as extra carriages and bridges to keep the network moving.
New stations and passengers appear as each run progresses, with their locations and demands changing from game to game. Play across city maps and modes including scored, endless, extreme, and creative play, with additional map and daily challenges.
Players often enjoy how simple rules and a clean, minimalist presentation lead to a demanding route-planning puzzle. Reviews describe the experience as calming at first but increasingly tense as stations fill, and appreciate the satisfaction of optimizing lines, the replayability of changing station layouts, and the range of city maps and challenges. Some also praise the sound design. Other reviews find the random station growth, repeated map patterns, or late-game micromanagement frustrating.
