SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded is a multiplayer first-person arena shooter. Players fight in teams or individually, combining gunplay and movement with portals placed on designated surfaces to reach unexpected angles, escape danger, and contest key positions.
Choose from arena modes such as Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Domination, Gun Game, and Shotty Snipers, with options for customizable loadouts or equal starts in Classic Arena. Arena Royale puts 24 players across one of four biomes; players vote on the location, earn cash through combat and mid-match events, and buy upgrades while moving.
Matches award career progress, weapon unlocks, and cosmetics. Weapons have individual progression paths with camos, while players advance through career levels and can compete on ranked leaderboards. Power-ups offer temporary advantages, and EMP grenades can clear enemy portals.
Positive reviewers often enjoy the quick arena pacing, satisfying gunplay, and the ways portals open up flanks and movement options. Some also praise the range of modes and the relaunch’s return to a more arena-focused format. Views are divided: many reviewers feel the game falls short of the original Splitgate, while others find the current version fun in its own right. Low player counts, balance, maps, and matchmaking or server problems are recurring concerns.
